Mission
Penghu are an archipelago of 64 islands and islets in the Taiwan Strait. Down through the ages, the local residents on the islands have their own eco-friendly way of living. For instance, the traditional houses are made of coral stones from the coast. Furthermore, Penghu has been developing their renewable power supplies over the past decades.

In lack of infrastructure of electricity and communication, Penghu would need a special solution to conquer all these obstacles when deploying the surveillance devices and the network connection. Therefore, DivioTec offers a wireless solution to deal with this situation.

Solution
DivioTec has been cooperating with National Penghu University of Science and Technology in 2015 to build up an eco-friendly surveillance system with wireless hybrid wind & solar-powered application.

Tip 1: Rugged Design IP Camera
Considering the windy and capricious weather circumstances, DivioTec has selected NBR326P for its rugged design. Featuring in IK10, IP67, wide temperature range from -40°C to 60°C , and anti-corrosion powder coating which is especially designed to fit in the harsh environment such as coastal area to avoid the erosion from the salted air and water along the seashore.

Tip 2: Expert Video Management System
For Video management, DivioTec NRV100 is capable of managing large-scale of system up to 2,000-ch. With multi-layer E-maps and remote bandwidth control function, clients could easily conquer the difficulties of remote and off-site management.

Tip 3: Industrial Wi-Fi Solution
The Wireless solution is suitable for remote locations such as separated islands and remote towns like Penghu that otherwise lack electricity and communications infrastructure. DivioTec chose WGW100 and Industrial Wi-Fi Mesh WAP130 for the Wi-Fi deployment.

DivioTec also work with one of our partners for the eco-system application, the Hybrid Street Lamp includes wind turbine, solar panel, battery, and LED street lamp. The application offers reliable and consistently power supply via wind & solar system.
